Afternoon concert Koningkerk
In keeping with the tradition of previous years, we are delighted to conclude the 'Muziek in de Koningskerk' concert series. Choral singing will be interspersed with musical intermezzos by Tom Suermondt (piano) and Olivija Lu (violin). Admission is free and there will be a collection after the concert. No programme! Marijke van Klaveren, conductor of the Voorburgs Vocal Ensemble, and Gilles Michels, conductor of Con Passione, studied together in Rotterdam under Barend Schuurman. Like Marijke, Gilles has extensive experience of working with children and young people. The two conductors occasionally meet as colleagues and are looking forward to working together.
